Dropped off the Earth

Sorry that we dropped off the face of the Earth...time marches on. The Breaking Dawn Movies were beautiful! We can't say enough about how much we loved them. Of course, like all the movies, there is so much more in the books that we wanted to see on screen. But Breaking Dawn 2's vision sequence was such a plot twist, it blew our socks off!
It was the perfect mix of book meets movie...a twist for the readers and excitment on screen.

The New Victoria Mattel Doll

This is the letter we recently sent to Mattel Inc. :

To the Mattel Incorporation,

This is in regard of the new Mattel Twilight Themed dolls. Thank you for the great detail you have included, such as the specific outfits and shinny features of the Edward dolls. However, we, the East Texas Twilight Fan Club, are very disappointed at the new Victoria doll. We feel that the hair color is incorrect. The book Eclipse describes her hair color as “flaming red”, and the hair color chosen for the doll is a very dark brown red.

We have collections of all the characters that are made with literary accuracy, but regret to inform you that we will be refraining from purchasing this particular product. We will also not be giving any support to this Victoria doll as a club, over all. We have found that most other Fans share our feelings on this matter.
